What a wood-look overlay is
A concrete overlay is a thin decorative layer bonded over your existing slab. Our signature wood-plank finish hand-tools that layer into realistic planks, grain, and joint lines, so a tired porch or interior floor reads like warm wood without the upkeep that real wood demands.
It works when the underlying concrete is structurally sound but worn, stained, or dated. Instead of breaking out the old slab and starting over, we resurface it. That means warmth and a fresh look on porches, patios, entryways, and interior floors without the cost and mess of a full tear-out.
How it goes: we assess the existing slab for soundness, prep and profile the surface for adhesion, apply a bond coat, trowel on the overlay and tool in the plank pattern, add the decorative color and finish, then seal it to protect against wear and moisture.
