Concrete Placement

Pumping moves concrete. Placement puts it where the finishers want it, at the pace they can work it. That second part is the craft.

The Service

The operator is the difference.

Anyone can point a hose. A placement operator reads the pour: keeps the head of concrete moving in front of the screed, feathers the flow into corners and around rebar, and never buries a finisher or leaves one waiting. That is what your crew gets when Caruth runs the pump.

We work as part of your pour crew for the day: your sequence, your pace, our reach and our hose discipline.

  • Slabs placed even, not piled and dragged
  • Footings and walls filled lift by lift
  • Careful flow around rebar, mesh, and embeds
  • Clean cutoffs, no cold-joint surprises

Why It Matters

Bad placement makes good crews look slow.

01

Less rework

Concrete that lands where it belongs does not get shoveled twice. Your labor goes into finishing, not moving mud.

02

Flatter slabs

An even head of concrete in front of the screed is the start of a flat floor. It begins at the hose, not the trowel.

03

Faster set-to-finish

Placement at the crew's pace means the whole slab ages evenly and finishes on one clock.

Common questions

Do you finish concrete too?
Our lane is pumping and placement. We work alongside your finishing crew, and if you need one, we can usually point you to good local crews we pump for.
Can you handle a multi-truck pour?
Yes. We help sequence trucks with the plant so the pour runs continuous instead of stop-start.
What does placement cost?
It is part of the pump quote: one fixed number for the day based on volume, reach, and hours. Free to get, and it does not move.
