Concrete coating questions, answered.

How much will my project cost?
It depends on the square footage, the condition of the concrete, the prep it needs, and the finish you choose. Because every slab is different, we do not publish prices. Nick looks at the project in person and gives you an on-site estimate for your specific job. See our pricing page.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. The consultation is free, and estimates are done on-site. Nick walks the project with you and gives you an on-site estimate, with no obligation.
What forms of payment do you take?
Cash, personal checks, cashier’s checks, cards, and Venmo. Card and Venmo payments carry a small processing fee.
Do you run promotions?
Yes, we run holiday promotions and seasonal discounts from time to time. Ask when you call.
Will my sealed concrete look dramatically different?
Sealing protects and enhances the concrete you already have. Expect a subtle shift, usually a shade or two darker, plus a cleaner, more uniform look. A topical sealer adds gloss; a penetrating sealer keeps a natural look.
What is the difference between penetrating and topical sealing?
A penetrating sealer soaks in and reacts with the concrete to harden it from within, with no film on top. A topical sealer forms a glossy, water-resisting membrane on the surface. Topical works best as a second layer over a penetrating sealer.
Why poly-aspartic instead of epoxy for garage floors?
Poly-aspartic is more flexible than traditional epoxy, which matters for floors that go through freezing temperatures. See garage floor coatings.
Can you stain a basement floor?
Yes! Staining can be done in basements too. The cleaning process is a little different, since we don’t want to pressure wash inside someone’s house.
Is my concrete a good candidate?
The best candidates are slabs that are still fairly young but starting to show wear. Very old, heavily deteriorated concrete may not be worth sealing, and Nick will tell you honestly if that is the case.
Who actually does the work?
Sealing and staining are done in-house. Poly-aspartic, metallic, and polished concrete floors are installed through our trusted coating specialist. Either way, Nick manages every project personally, so you always have one point of contact.
Do you do commercial projects?
Yes. We work on residential and commercial concrete, from home driveways and garages to shops and business floors.
What areas do you serve?
Cache Valley, Box Elder County, and down into Weber and Davis counties. See the service areas page, or call and ask.
How long will my project take?
It depends on the service, the size of the area, and the condition of the concrete. Nick will talk it through with you during the estimate, and you will be kept informed as the work goes.
Is there a warranty?
Warranty coverage depends on the service. Nick will explain what applies to your project during the estimate.
